Here’s a simple recipe to make spaghetti pasta:
Ingredients:
1 pound spaghetti pasta
4-6 quarts of water
1 tablespoon salt
1-2 tablespoons olive oil
1 jar (24 oz) of your favorite pasta sauce (or homemade sauce)
Optional: grated Parmesan cheese and fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions:
Bring a large pot of water to a boil. Add 1 tablespoon of salt to the water.
Add the spaghetti pasta to the pot of boiling water. Cook for 8-10 minutes or until the pasta is al dente (cooked but still slightly firm).
While the pasta is cooking, heat the pasta sauce in a separate saucepan over low heat, stirring occasionally.
When the pasta is done cooking, drain it in a colander.
Return the spaghetti to the pot, and toss with 1-2 tablespoons of olive oil to prevent sticking.
Add the heated pasta sauce to the pot with the spaghetti and toss to combine.
Serve hot with grated Parmesan cheese and fresh parsley, if desired.
Enjoy your homemade spaghetti pasta!
